How Bookings Work
Understanding the booking lifecycle from inquiry to completion in GetPartyOps.
Booking Lifecycle
Every booking goes through stages: Pending → Confirmed → In Progress → Completed. You can customize which stages require action and which are automatic.
Online Bookings
Customers book through your booking page or embedded widget. They select items, choose a date, enter their details, and pay the deposit — all in one flow.
Manual Bookings
Need to create a booking manually? Go to Bookings > New Booking. Select the customer, items, date, and payment status. Perfect for phone or walk-in reservations.
Booking Confirmations
Automatic email and SMS confirmations are sent when a booking is created. Customers receive a detailed receipt with their booking summary, delivery window, and waiver link.
Buffer Times
Set buffer times between bookings to allow for setup, takedown, and transit. Buffer times prevent back-to-back bookings on the same item.
